Being French, I expected to find the croissants to be closer to the original. They were quite thick, chocolate was not of the best quality. Definitely not what I expected.

After Sur La Table stopped selling pain au chocolat, I didn’t think I’d ever find another mail-order source for my favorite pastries. I’m so glad I found Tugnao’s Market on Etsy! These croissants are absolutely perfect. Big, flaky, crisp pastry filled with chocolate. Bonus: they’re individually wrapped so I can keep them in the freezer and heat one up anytime I feel like indulging. I’ll definitely be back for more.

I’m sorry to say that I wasn’t impressed. I have been looking for a place to purchase since Sams Club stopped selling them. Unfortunately I found these to be overly thick for my taste and rather tough to chew.
